Sunny and Dipali were such gems to work with! Honestly, seeing not only their own love for each other but the love they had for their family and friends was such an honor.
Sunny reached out to me a couple of weeks before the proposal so I could photograph the moment! I was so excited and helped him decide between Hoboken and Jersey City. After much thought, Sunny went with Jersey City for the proposal and it was an absolutely amazing choice!
The Jersey City waterfront with the view of New York City in the background was a beautiful backdrop to the entire proposal! He even set up a little table with some champagne and a photo of them while they were dating!
Then came the actual proposal!
Dipali came to the area with her parents and brother and she saw her knight in shining armor waiting for her :) Sunny stood patiently in front of the beautiful Jersey City waterfront and when the moment came, he was ready to pop the question! Sunny gave a beautiful speech for the proposal. I, of course, did not hear much of it since I stand farther away to give some privacy but Dipali cried so that's all that matters!
Sunny and Dipali's entire families were waiting in a corner watching the whole thing unfold! They popped out after to say congratulations to the beautiful newly engaged couple! Their family brought flowers, hugs, and tears to the day and it was an absolutely beautiful way to finish off the proposal.
Last but not least, came the couples shoot! Most of my proposal couples opt for a shoot after the proposal to be able to spend some time together and to get some beautiful photos to commemorate the milestone! We started off the shoot by popping the champagne and celebrating and ended it with a beautiful walk around Jersey City's waterfronts and parks. I've never met a more giggly couple before and the entire shoot was filled with laughs, smiles and fun! Sunny and Dipali were down to do anything and were so sweet during the whole shoot!
I am always so thrilled to be asked to photograph proposals and this proposal was no different!
